These crazy girls are some of the best. We decided to throw a no kid weekend together. My wonderful parents were gracious enough to let us stay at their place, and it was ON!!! I need to start also by saying that JEN...YOU WERE MISSED!! She had a sick little boy the night before we were suppose to leave, so being the wonderful mom that she is took the "High Road" and stayed home.
The weekend was full of lots of 1st times for some people. It was Hannah Q', and Twinkle Toes first pedi.....which was greatly deserved after a FULL day of shopping. I thought Twinkle Toes was going to Karate Kid kick her little pedicurist in the face. She's got a thing with people touching her feet. And I think that my pedicurist may have had a little crush. SHE seemed to take great pleasure in beating the holy crap out of the bottom of my feet..."Take It!!" (Ladies that was for you! :P).
We were also about the food. It was lovely, and oh so grown up. No McDonald's, not once, can you believe it? In addition to the food we were all inspired by Hannah Q's new diet lifestyle, that we all hopped on the wagon. ChiChi even stopped her beloved diet pepsi "COLD TURKEY" Wahoo!! We even started and ended each day with..get this...Ground Flax Shooters. Is that sexy or what?
Saturday, we took a little drive to Veyo, and found a terrific little spot for just about the best breakfast we had ever had. That's were we saw our biker boyfriends. Actually I think "they" were boyfriends, but I had to get a picture of the pants.
We then spent the day digesting our breakfast by the pool. And the came the "CANNONBALL CONTEST". Twinkle Toes won, as she so gracefully sent a small child up a tree. J/K What a blast, and probably horrible sight. A little 5 year old chastised Hannah Q because she only did a "Pencil". This is also where ChiChi, and Lefty got their nicknames.
On our final night we decided to hit the town of Mesquite. We had a great dinner where Twinkle Toes had an incident with her new shirt. We hit the slots for about 20bucks worth, and decided to call it a night. Are we wild or what?
I don't think that I have laughed that hard in a long time. We talked until we could talk no more. Thank you my sisters for such a wonderful weekend. Love to all.
P.S. This weekend of leasure would not have been possible if it weren't for our wonderful husbands who held down the fort for all of us. As I heard it, each one of them were ready for us to come home. Thanks boys!! And a BIG THANK YOU to my mom and dad for letting us stay at their beautiful place!! It was wonderful. Love you guys.
