Fairwell Americus...

On July 4, 2007 Americus joined our family. This post may seem a little silly, and alot morbid, but our pets are part of our family, and we said goodbye to him today. Karson picked out this fish because it was the 4th of July, and he was a beautiful red, white, and blue. He then proceded to call him Americus. He moved with us, and grew old with us....I sound crazy. Abby took it very hard tonight as we flushed our little friend into the Big Swimming Pool in the sky..ground...wherever. R.I.P. Americus.

Oh, my heart! This is mom speaking. I remember many a sad flushing of the fish with all of you girls...especially the one of Melissa's that started swimming wildly when it hit the cold water. But she had already flushed, so we said goodby with you girls screaming "IT'S ALIVE, IT'S ALIVE!" (I felt like mother of the year!)
I love you Karson - I'm so sorry!
Love, Grandma Debbie

Jaxon made us dig a hole for his little frog we had! Isn't is amazing how we can get so atatched to those pets?
